Personal Training

For individual fitness sessions, an initial consultation is FREE, where we get a chance to get to know each other and whether the services are a match for what you are looking for. After we get an idea of where you are and where you want to be, I show you how to incorporate daily activity into your life. I’ll show you how to monitor your exercise intensity and how to properly and safely perform the exercises, as well as ways to make exercise more FUN! As an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, I prefer to teach folks how to keep themselves fit, rather than having them only exercise with me. I also firmly believe that you do NOT always need a gym to get fit. A pair of walking shoes and knowing some key functional strength training and stretching exercises is all most folks need to get them started on the path to a more active lifestyle. Since I am also trained in Stott Mat Pilates and YogaFit Yoga, I can incorporate the principles from both for strength training and flexibility exercises if you wish.

I am on staff as a personal trainer at the Wheaton Park District and the B.R. Ryall YMCA, just ask for me when you request a personal trainer and I can train with you through either of these organizations.
